Tooth Fairy question...?

how much do you give a 6yr old losing his first tooth (front tooth on the bottom)

Tooth Fairy question...?
a dollar. or a fiver. Or just splurge, get a pink tu tu and leave him a memory too. Seeing the furry tooth fairy is good enough for any kid. Hopefully it won't require therapy later on.
Reply:five bucks
Reply:a hundred dollar bill!! lol jk i dk, but i seriously thought about that today
Reply:dont give him too much or he'll eventually expect higher amounts and be spoiled :)

im thinking like 1 dollar...he's only 6.
Reply:!st tooth..... 5 bucks.. then i give mine a couple bucks after that...for each tooth...
Reply:Used to be a quarter...

I've been giving mine silver dollars.
Reply:i'd give him/her maybe $5- $10???
Reply:Depends on whether he gets an allowance... if yes it needs to be close to the same amount ...if not $1-$5 depending on how much you want to pay for the other 25 :-)

I hope his room is clean!
Reply:Tut tut, your fairy didnt inform you too well did she, the going rate is a £1 per tooth £1.50 if he/she was extra brave.

lol xxx
Reply:Seriously?? These people pay big bucks. I'd say $2. We always put our teeth in a jar of water, then the tooth would be replaced with quarters. I'd go $2.
Reply:I (tooth fairy) gave my son $5 (australian) for his first tooth lost and i told him that the first one is the most special as it means he is getting to be a big boy. Also after that he only got $1 for each one.
Reply:MY MOM gave me 20 dollars but 1 dollar will e good. and on his second tooth 2 dollars. third three dollars ......
Reply:5 quid if it fell out of its own accord, or a thousand if you did it when you came in drunk last night.
Reply:He's six, I mean really what is he going to buy?... he doesn't need $5, at his age I got 50 cents.
Reply:chores

to help pay for the blood on the pillowcase
Reply:10 dollars would make him proud.
Reply:I normally give about $1 per tooth....our tooth fairy is a little bit stingy..hehehe But he gets pocket money as well.
Reply:A dollar! :) He'll lose some of his other teeth 2!
Reply:I would say $5. For each tooth I lost I received $5, except for when I got my two front teeth knocked out at the same time, in which case I got $20.
Reply:um, well i'd say about $2... but thats here in australia, i dont know about anywhere else...

the problem is... if you give them say $2, then you have to give them $2 or more everytime... if you give them less than the time before... then they will get sad or feel like you hate them or something like that... i wouldn't give them too much... my brother's friend used to get $30 for every tooth she lost... it eventually gets to be a ot of money...

and once they turn about 9, stop giving them money... and when they hit 10 or 11 they will stop putting their tooth under their pillow and all, i dont know why... but yeah, kids do that
Reply:Same case with my niece, she got €5, couple of days ago.
Reply:I would say five. I got two dollars- but that was 20 years ago!
Reply:The only advice I can give you is to consider how much you want to give for each future tooth that comes out. When the next tooth comes out you will probably fear that your child will be disappointed if he/she receives less for that tooth than the first one.
Reply:I'd say ........$5.00
Reply:$60 because he's 6
Reply:A quarter, never start with too much or they'll expect more and more.
Reply:a fiver and a pack of sugarless gum and a new toothbrush. my kids loved it.
Reply:come on his 5 !! it not about how much it's about believing in the tooth fairy that's all 1 $ will be good
Reply:The first tooth is very special...I would say a dollar.
Reply:i think for a first tooth you should give a bit more than normal i usually get $2.00 so maby $4 or $5

good luck !!
