Those little teeth can go missing if they are just put under a pillow, so I made my kids a little tooth fairy cushion, about four inches across, a little pocket on the side of it to slip a tooth into. My daughters of course was all lacy and frou frou and fairyish -
I thought it might be a good craft idea for some of you crafty types.
Has anyone made a "tooth fairy cushion" for their grandchildren?
I made them for my girls. All lacy and such like you did. Sprinkled "fairy " dust at the window sill and by their pillow too. My girls were both wild sleepers and there's no way a tooth would have survived under their regular pillow, so I was right on it when I saw that idea mentioned a few years ago.
Reply:That is a great idea -- Love that!! Going to suggest it to my sister who has a young grand-daughter.
My grand-daughters are past that. :((
Reply:Yes, (in the shape of a tooth) I did make one and sometimes she sleeps with it, without teeth in it! Wishful thinking I guess!
What a good mom you are/were!
Reply:Yes, for my grand-kids. I think it's a cute idea and it's also decorative on their bed.
Reply:That is such a cute idea. Need to make one for the granddaughter but no rush she is only about 3 months.
Reply:Yes, that is a good idea but Im not THAT crafty. LOL I did however buy the girls one. They saw it in some store and just HAD to have it, so I bought them each one. Dont know if they still have them.
