Neither one can be seen
There's no real proof that either one has ever existed
I will say this though, at least the tooth fairy leaves you money, God just wants it.
How is believing in "God" any different than believing in the Tooth Fairy?
If you have enough faith, the toothfairy is real! :)
Reply:*drink*
it isn't
Reply:Wow! You seem to be in need of a little faith.
Reply:Lol that thing about money is classic :)
Reply:WHAT NO tooth fairy? lol......... BUT this is a Good question
Reply:If that's your question, then you've already made up your mind. Believe in the tooth fairy. Question resolved.
Reply:Santa says they both exist
Reply:The tooth fairy didn't have a historically verifiable existence. Nor was it ever even CLAIMED to be seen on Mt Sinai or anything like that.
Reply:They're pretty much the same in many respects, but at least belief in a tooth fairy doesn't result in discrimination, persecution, torture, murder, war, child abuse etc... (as far as I know!).
Reply:You mean the tooth fairy isn't real? =( Then who was the one that left the money under my pillow?
musta been a leprechaun..
Reply:You will believe in the life after death.
There is one God Allah, who ceated all the universe and everything .
Reply:You have seen evidence that the Tooth Fairy is not real. Your parents have either been "caught in the act", or eventually revealed it to be a hoax.
However, there IS evidence of God's existance. Do you believe that the universe created itself? Matter cannot be created or destroyed, and for there to be no God, there is no creator for the matter, and it would have existed forever, which is strongly disagreed with in the "Big Bang Theory".
If anything, all scientific hypotheses that can be grounded in logic and fact either directly or indirectly affirms the existance of God.
I will not even begin to mention the "things that can't be explained" category. I believe I have offered enough proof.
I hope that I have convinced you. :)
Reply:The tooth fairy has never had a conversation with me.
God has had many.
You do the math.
Reply:interesting question
Reply:How is believing in "God" more 'right' or 'correct' than believing in any other god, past or present? Most religions explain "our creation" so why can't they all exist?
I mean, seriously. Who DOESN'T think the Flying Spaghetti Monster is real?
Reply:Imagine if on 9/11, the hijackers said, "We're doing this for the Tooth Fairy".
Reply:God doesn't want your money... He Himself can create fortune that can outweigh the universe.
i can prove to you God exists... i can only lead you to the water though friend, you have to drink of it. Jesus Christ is knocking at your heart's door, if you let Him in, I gaurantee you, you will know Him. and you'll live the rest of your life wondering how you ever made it without Him.
you ready? you're a sinner, just as i was and everyone was/is. you cannot see God because your sin has caused Him to resist you. here comes the water... Jesus Christ paid your's/mine/everyone's sin debt by becoming sin itself, and killing it on the cross. now, if you can drink from that cup, then i have proven to you that God exists, and He will make Himself known to you.
He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. John 14:21
Reply:Both God and the Tooth Fairy are the same in the sense that, at a certain point in one's life, you learn the new, real truth, and then move on. The tooth fairy is a type of crutch, created by parents for a variety of reasons.
The belief in 'God' and religion is no different:
It is a profitable kind of crowd control.
Reply:In the Bronze Age, monotheism represented the logical evolution from polytheism which itself evolved from animism and represented a way to explain natural phenomena whose true origin was unknown.
Today, belief in anything supernatural is absurd.
Reply:do you believe in the tooth fairy... or just Nessie and Bigfoot and Aliens from Gamma 6?
