Tooth Fairy?

My six year old lost his first tooth today. What is the going rate nowadays for the first tooth?

Tooth Fairy?
My mom use to give me five dollars a tooth, but it depends on you. You don't want to give too much money cause every time they lose a tooth they'll be demanding money. Or they'll do like I use to and find a way to lose teeth for money. Hope this helps.
Reply:A silver dollar.
Reply:I teach so I see a big range in the tooth fairy's generosity. When he/she visits our house, our six year old gets a quarter a tooth.
Reply:I'd say fifty cents to a dollar, but maybe I'm just a cheapskate ;D
Reply:I'd give 1 dollar
Reply:its not real come on man!!!
Reply:I thought the tooth ferry was retired
Reply:a dollar a tooth.
Reply:I did the special coin, silver dollar! Anyhow, a special one for the first tooth.
Reply:i give mine a dollar
Reply:All our kids find that the tooth fairy leaves shiny new quarters.
Reply:When I was a kid, I never got more then a quater a tooth.
Reply:i got a dollar when i was 6. try two
Reply:At 6, my son earned $1 per tooth, and we were able to get the Susan B. Anthony dollar coins. They make a more memorable impression,
Reply:for my first tooth i got 2 bucks...... but that was like 4 yrs ago so id say 2.50 but in my house if your over 13 you get no more money
Reply:A dollar with maybe something extra like a sticker included.
Reply:depends on how savvy the kid is. how much did his friends get. inferiority starts at home.

Everything after should be 2 I believe (:
Reply:call the fairy toooth

or get a paper and write some thing then put it under ur pillow
Reply:I always got a dollar.

I think your kid will be happy no matter what
Reply:5 bucks
Reply:I give my kids a dollar
Reply:make your kids name in 1 or 5 dollar bills in the letter of his name
Reply:my sister and I got 5 for the first tooth, then a dollar afterwards. (we're 15 and 17 now, and weren't raised to beleive in the tooth fairy.)
Reply:i got about five bucks when she turns about ten blow it 4 her that there is not a tooth fairy okay?
Reply:a dallor for the first tooth
Reply:5 $$ and a very cute little toy. and you can also write a letter to him. just use a fancy font or something. it'll make him feel special.

when i was little i used to give the tooth fairy a gift and now that I'm older, my mom showed me all the little trinkets i used to give and it's reall cool to share once he's older! have fun!
Reply:i know this wont happen but when i lost my first tooth i got $20 i guess it was a big deal for the rents i would him $5
Reply:Use a dollar coin.... Its more than what we used to get and it still maintains the mystery of the tooth fairy if the money is in coin form.
Reply:a Silver Dollar is what the tooth fairy left my kid, then various coins after the first, random amounts
