Have you ever been absolutely convinced that the tooth fairy existed?

I was once - I found a letter from the tooth fairy under my pillow after I lost a tooth - and I did not recognise the handwriting!

Have you ever been absolutely convinced that the tooth fairy existed?
Yeah I totally was convinced too. And really liked that I got money from it. But as the years passed I wonder if I used to convince myself for the sake of receiving money for my teeth lol
Reply:no
Reply:yep.
Reply:no
Reply:no and i never will
Reply:WHAT!!! she's not real!!!!
Reply:I was never conviced because we had to put the teeth on the fireplace, and that did not make sense to me. So, I always thought that there was soemthing to it. After about a year or so of thinking this, I asked my parents and then whenever I lost a tooth i would go to them and get a dollar.
Reply:Oh Yes, I believed for some time! Those were different times.
Reply:No, I have never been completely and thoroughly convinced of the tooth fairy's existence.
Reply:Of course she does, they make dishes out of teeth.
Reply:Uhm, I've never believed in the tooth fairy. And I would stop believing in it if she just left me a letter instead of money. Losing a tooth hurts.
Reply:I don't remember ever believing in the tooth fairy... I do remember, though, that in place of each tooth left under the pillow, I always found either a nickel or a quarter. ANd I was always thrilled with either. I recall my dad being equally thrilled... but back then (around 40 years ago) I just can't recall whether I attributed the money to a tooth fairy or just to a mysterious tradition.
Reply:DEFINITELY!

Reply:I figured she existed but I was at a loss as to why she never came to my house after all those mornings and evenings of not brushing just for a quarter.
