Who invented the tooth fairy? And did you get a treat under your pillow? What did you get?

I drive a school bus and one of my kids says his father told him there's no such thing as a tooth fairy. I think its really sad to have the nice, pure things taken away from our children and then comes harsh reality way to early. So give him a shoot'em up video game instead. What in the world? I am glad when I grew up I knew to have fun and just be a kid. I believed in the tooth fairy, Easter bunny and Santa Claus. I think its robs a childhood from a child to tell them there is no such thing. How do you feel about it?

I used to get a quarter. I give my kids $1. It is fun for kids to believe in the tooth fairy.
