Say your child when putting their tooth under their pillow at night writes the tooth fairy a letter, does the tooth fairy respond to that letter or does she/he just leave the money and run?
Tooth Fairy question for the parents, see details?
Both my daughters have always gotten a response when they have written. Not everyone has the same tooth fairy, you know - with all the kids in the world, there are many fairies leaving money for little teeth. My daughters tooth fairies are Teensy and Flossy - and both the girls got a personalized certificate when they lost their very first tooth.
Kids grow up so fast today - why not have fun with them while you can?
Reply:if the child asks a question you should answer it but not in your hand writing
Reply:She responds!! It is a lot of fun when she responds to the child. It makes losing the tooth more....................special to the child!!! I have responded for years!!! Hope that helped!!
Reply:I actually responded to the letter at the bottom of my daughters letter. I tried to write real messy and read able...OMG she just loved it. She was so excited she got a response.
Reply:mine always took the money and ran.
the note is a nice idea if you think your child would like to have a note with the money. Some kids would think that would make the event more personal.
Go with what you think your child would like. This is a big event in their life. A little note would be something they could keep after the money has been spent.
Reply:responds.. think of what fun it is going to be when you child tell you they got a letter from the tooth fairy. Make sure you keep the letter they wrote in a keepsake box so they can see it one day.. Dont destroy it
Reply:good question, child dose not go for the tooth fairy thing at all but if she did and she wrote a letter then yes i would have some one respond to it
Reply:The tooth fairy always wrote me back!!! My tooth money was usually taped to the note, and she would sometimes leave little gifts too...
I know it was my mom, but still :-)
Reply:The tooth fairy cuts and runs.
Reply:Simply put-respond to it. It can something very simple such as "Thank you for saving your tooth for me!"
Reply:Dang thats a good question, well for me my son is 8yrs old and i finally told him that I am the tooth fairy and he started laughing and asked my why i didnt give him alot of money for his tooth, lol anywho depending how old your child is if they are under the age of 6yrs i would write a note back mainly just to encourage them that they need to keep up with their brushing of the teeth you know keeping there new teeth healthy so that the tooth fairy doesnt take anymore to keep them from loosing the only teeth they have left. Or you can just let them know but i dont think kids are ready for that til they get older you dont want them still trying to pull teeth just for some money......they can work for it and get an allowance. well take care and good luck
Reply:Dont leave the money and run....take the tooth also!!
No note needed.
Reply:I would write a response telling the child how special he or she is. This fantasy stuff can be a great source of play and love between a parent and a child. For years after I know my daughter knew there was no Santa Claus, we still went through the rituals of her pretending there was. Her older brother even got in on the act and we all pretended to fool her and she pretended to be fooled. Play this up for all it is worth. Before you know it your child will be grown and gone. Enjoy this stuff to the hilt while you can.
Reply:They always get a response, both, from the Tooth Fairy and Santa Clause. One year it was from the Easter Bunny, a paw print of which I had to interpret. ;-)
Reply:My kids just never wrote a letter, they just put their tooth under the pillow.
Reply:Its probably better to just come clean with the whole tooth fairy thing. Lying to our children for the sake of delusional beliefs never can end well. It ruins the foundation of trust they expect and need from their parents.
After all, if the tooth fairy and santa were lies, maybe everything else you told them was too.
But directly regarding your question, I dont believe the tooth fairy would write back, she's tiny, how on earth could she hold a pencil?
Reply:Write back! If the child invested the time and energy to do that, surely you would want to respond.
Reply:I don't have the my kids write a letter. The toothfairy knows what to do. LOL
Reply:you can respond. it makes it fun to watch how they react and at the same time you. and the tooth fairy leaves money too of course.
Reply:just money like under a 1 dollar
Reply:Probably responds if possible. The only time we didn't have that luck as kids was when my brother left a camera on the table for the Easter Bunny to take a picture of himself. Notes were always answered, I believe.
Reply:I think your child would like to receive a reply, since he took the time to write her a note. :-D
Make the handwriting teeny tiny and make him read it with a magnifying glass (she's tiny; how else would she be able to get under his pillow with him still sleeping???)
Reply:Oh, please. I just went through this two days ago. We sent the tooth fairy an email. The tooth fairy responded with a typed letter (from the computer) and left it with the $1 under her pillow. Btw, this was a great way for someone more credible than mom to remind her about the importance of brushing twice a day and after meals...and not eating too much candy.
I'm about to draft a memo from Santa and the Easter Bunny : )
