Does anyone have any tooth fairy stories? My tooth fairy didn't deliver. Did you get .10 or .25 for a tooth?

A dissapointment for sure, like when I found out there was no Santa Claus. I thought "What's up with this?" Bye, bye childhood idioms. My parents felt it was time I grew up. (6 yrs old)

I used to get $5.00 bucks per tooth on top on my allowance, i used to knock my teeth out just for the $5.00 bucks, the weird thing was my parents never got suspicious when i would loss a tooth every month. Oh yes and once i even got a couple teeth from the skeleton on the science lab that i passed off as my own,
Reply:How many teeth did you loose by age six? My own only lost 1 by that age. I guess you can give your folks points for honesty, but there is something to say for culture.
Reply:I got a dollar for my tooth. How old are you? Don't you have to be a certain age to use yahoo answers?
Reply:when i was a kid i got a $1.00 for my tooth and when it was a big tooth i got $2.00. i found out that it was fake cuz i found my tooth in my moms room.
Reply:don't you write too well to be 6?
Reply:I'm an only child so I've been spoiled my entire life. I have always gotton upwards of $5-10 dollars when I was losing teeth. I played dumb about things like that just to get more out of them I think. And it wasn't until I was like 8 my cousins and I were doing an easter egg hunt in my backyard and my mother told me where the "easter bunny" hid the egg that had $20 in it. I think thats when I realized that my mom realized that I knew it all.
Reply:I got 9 dollars 4 a tooth once it wasnt my tooth it was a note that i wrote that said i forgot my tooth at school
Reply:I used to get 10 cents. A lot of years ago.

My granddaughter is sure the tooth fairy is real because she'd held onto the envelope with her tooth in it as she went to sleep. When she woke up, the tooth was gone and a dollar was in the envelope.

My nephew lost a tooth and didn't tell anyone. He put the tooth under his pillow, and went to my brother in tears the next day. "Why didn't the tooth fairy come?" My brother, always a quick thinker, said "Because yesterday was a holiday. Fairies don't work on the 9th of September. Put the tooth under your pillow tonight, and she will come."
Reply:I get a dollar for every tooth and i am 10years old it's cool i have lost 13 teeth so thats 13 dollars and i still get money when i lose teeth now
Reply:When I was the tooth fairy I would give my daughter $1.00 a tooth, one time more because I was doing well at work!
Reply:my smaller teeth were 1 dollar. the molars were 5 dollars
Reply:You are NEVER too old for the Tooth Fairy, Santa, the Easter bunny, etc..... When I was a kid, many years ago (I am 47 now) I got a quarter from the tooth fairy (I think by the time I stopped loosing teeth I got 4 quarters...lol), I still make baskets for my much older kids........16 and 19, and enjoy it immensely.......I even put a tag on the basket, from the Easter bunny.......... for Christmas, some of the presents are "still" from Santa!........... come on....... these wonderful icons should always live in the hearts of children, young and old alike!

P.S. ..........Fairy's Do Exist......And So Does The Wonderful Magic Surrounding All Of These Other Childhood Icons, They Are Spirit Guides And Helpers From Far Away Lands And From Long Ago Times.

There was a time in history when these entities existed very close to human beings; they have left their spirit marks in the hearts of parents who have now taken over their cause.
Reply:the tooth farie left me a note that said"sorry i was in Brazil a buch of kids got in a fight so i've been down there a lot". that's my tooth storie
Reply:i got $5-$20 per tooth
Reply:i got 1.00 per tooth.. my niece gets 25.00 a tooth at that i would believe until all my teeth fell out just to get the cash. ha
Reply:My tooth fairy must have been loaded. Either that or she felt sorry for me because she left me five bucks a tooth! My familiy doesnt have money like that either. I think they just felt bad because I cried so much when I lost a tooth.
Reply:I got a dime and moved up to a quarter
Reply:Well, one time, me and my little brother were sharing a room and he had just lost a tooth... My mom came in when he as asleep, she litterally skipped in and flapped her hands like wings saying: I am the tooth fairy!!!

Then there was the time mom got me a book for my tooth and woke me up shoving it under my pillow...

AND!!! I AM THE EASTER BUNNY AND SANTA CLAUSE!!!!!

MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

No, but seriously, I am!!!
Reply:I fell asleep before I could put money under my sons pillow.he was really up set when he woke up .I went to check under his bed and only had a $5 bill in my pocket.so he made out good that morning.
Reply:When children are born they are full of natural Magick. As they grow and are taught by some that Magick isn't real, the Magick is slowly absorbed by their baby teeth. When a child begins to lose their baby teeth, the Tooth Fairy always comes to collect them and leave a small present. The teeth are brought into the fairies' circle and danced into releasing the Magick into the world. This is how Magick has lasted and will last as long as there are children.
Reply:I once got $5 for on of my tooths.
